@Devisita : Maia Reficco officially kicks off the era of her debut EP on September 3rd

Updated: Sep 9

After years of anticipation, hints scattered throughout interviews, and intensive recording sessions between Los Angeles and Buenos Aires, Maia Reficco’s debut studio album is finally taking shape. This project, conceived as a true creative sanctuary, marks the beginning of a meticulously planned artistic journey.
First Opening
On August 12, 2026, around 7:00 p.m. ARG, the profile pictures for Maia's two official accounts changed!
© Filmed by Malu Boruchowicz with Florencia Mamberti
The main account (@maiareficco) : A new profile picture showing Maia sitting on a rock surrounded by nature, carrying a little white house on her back tied with ribbons, accompanied by a new bio featuring the house symbol ⌂ and the tag @devisita.
The second account (@devisita) : Originally created in 2022 under the name @tomatit0cherry__ to share intimate and candid photos, this account was renamed @devisita. She also unfollowed everyone and kept only her main account. Her new profile picture shows the same miniature wooden house, this time placed open on the grass on a hillside.
As for what’s next, a first conceptual teaser has been unveiled. The video features Maia on a train, observing and handling this wooden dollhouse structure.
Second Opening
August 13, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Filmed with a very wide shot and from a high angle, the sequence stands in stark contrast to the intimacy of the train car from the previous day. We see Maia sitting on the ground, alone in the middle of a vast, deserted paved esplanade, dominated by the city’s imposing columns and monumental stone arches, reminiscent of New York architecture. Maia is at the Manhattan Bridge Arch and Colonnade.
Next to her stands, once again, the little white house, its door open onto the cobblestones. This striking contrast between the raw immensity of the urban landscape and the vulnerability of her silhouette as she sits beside this miniature house reinforces the melancholic and introspective atmosphere of this new era, while visually illustrating the anticipation leading up to the start of the project.
First Exclusive Preview - Amapola (sing to me, Pablo)
While browsing TikTok, I stumbled upon a wonderful surprise: an unlisted clip over a minute long from the song Amapola. (deleted on August 17)
As mentioned in my previous article, on the Argentine show LUZU TV, Maia had already played a rough first snippet from her phone. But this discovery on TikTok marks a major milestone, since this time it’s the actual studio version, revealing the full purity of her voice and the track’s meticulous production.
I also managed to obtain the official visual accompanying the audio in high quality: an intriguing shot showing Maia lying on the floor in a neutral-toned hallway, her legs supported by an elderly woman wearing a work apron.
Spotify Radar Jam Argentina

Maia took the stage to perform Amapola live during the latest edition of RADAR Jam, held at Casa Spotify, with her white wooden house open beside her on stage.
This exclusive live format, conceived by Spotify to extend the RADAR program beyond the platform, offers artists an exceptional showcase and a direct connection with their audience. Surrounded by her musicians, Maia delivered a passionate and intense performance of the song, once again demonstrating on stage the vocal power and raw identity of this new era.
House Opening
August 14, 2026. 8:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Maia shared a second snippet on her Instagram account. She is shown from behind, sitting on a rock in the middle of a wooded park, the photo you can see at the beginning of this article, gazing into the distance at the city’s skyscrapers. Once again, the little white house rests on her back, securely fastened with its straps and light-colored ribbons.
Shortly thereafter, her official YouTube channel was fully updated to reflect the new visual identity. Her profile picture and banner have been replaced with the new conceptual visuals for this era.
Launch of the official website

To accompany the release of this new video teaser, Maia added a new link named devisita.com to her Instagram bio on both of her accounts; a significant milestone was reached with the launch of an official page under the umbrella of Universal Music Group.
Featuring the structure of a rustic wooden cottage as its background image, this landing page invites fans from around the world to enter their email address and country of residence to join the official mailing list.
Universal Music Group
The launch of this website also provides significant confirmation regarding the behind-the-scenes details of the album. In my previous article, I had speculated that she had signed with Interscope Records for the international release and with Warner Chappell Music for the copyrights.
Followings : Maia does not follow the main Universal Music Group account, but she actively follows Interscope Records and Warner.
The legal address on the site : The prominent legal notice on the official page lists an address in Santa Monica, California, which corresponds exactly to the historic headquarters of Interscope Records, a major subsidiary of Universal Music Group!
These details are significant. Universal Music/Interscope is a very important label for Maia’s album.
International reach : The album benefits not only from local distribution but also from the marketing power of one of the world’s largest labels (promotion on global streaming platforms, radio airplay, partnerships, and media coverage in the United States, Europe, and Latin America).
Large-scale production and promotion resources : This guarantees big-budget music videos, potential physical distribution (vinyl, CDs, official merchandise), and a structured promotional schedule.
The Official Fan Hub : This site serves as a central hub. It’s through this platform that Spotify and Apple Music pre-saves, early access to concert and showcase ticket sales, and exclusive previews of official announcements via email will be managed.
The White Wooden House

Worn as a backpack with straps and light-colored satin ribbons in New York’s parks and streets, or placed directly on the grass of a hill overlooking the city, this structure directly evokes the idea of a portable inner home.
A Nostalgic Time Capsule
When opened as a triptych (divided into three sections), it reveals a meticulous miniature interior that evokes a strong retro and analog aesthetic.
Vintage floral wallpaper : A warm and delicate domestic touch.
A classic iPod and wired cables : A powerful symbol of the 2000s and its early musical inspirations (Billboard Argentina 20218).
The “Louise Carmen” journal : A repository for lyrics, secrets, and rough compositions.
Small audio modules : The art of sound, where every corner of the structure produces or plays a melody.
De visita "On a Visit"
This little house serves as the narrative thread : Maia invites her audience to step into her private world, to come “visit” the rooms that make up her story and the tracks on this debut album.
After she shared this symbol ⌂, all her fans showed their support by adding it to their own profiles.

Filmed from a high angle in Manhattan, Maia stands on a street corner, leaning against a “No Entry” sign in front of the window of a neighborhood shop and bookstore. At her feet, the little white speaker sits open on the sidewalk, connected to the wired earbud she’s holding in her hand.
The video features raw, live vocals, as if filmed on the spot on the street without any studio editing. Maia sings from the heart while passersby walk by her, lending an authentic, vulnerable, and unfiltered quality to this new track.

After Maia’s performance at Casa Spotify (RADAR Jam), Spotify Argentina shared behind-the-scenes videos of the event. Upon closer inspection, the famous little wooden house was on display, offering a close-up view of the intricate details of the interior installation
Mounted on the floral wallpaper, the screen of the classic iPod displays the currently playing track titled “MERCED-”, clearly “Mercedes”, along with the artist name “Maia” and a dark miniature album cover.
Tracklist n°1
August 17, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The wait is finally coming to an end for Maia Reficco’s fans. The artist has just shared a short official teaser announcing the release of the first tracklist for her album, titled “Amapola”.
In this visual clip filmed in the heart of New York City, we see a wide shot bathed in natural light where Maia appears sitting on the cobblestones of a large urban square, with her white house beside her. The backdrop blends the iconic facades of Chinatown and the Leon Hotel, creating a striking contrast between the subject’s solitude and the vastness of the city.

August 18, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Beyond the New York City skyline, the “Amapola” teaser also showcases a vintage, intimate cinematic aesthetic. It features a scene full of charm and humanity, depicting three elderly women -the woman on the far right is the same one on the cover - sharing pastries and donuts in front of the railing of a brick building. This sequence offers a warm, almost theatrical and timeless contrast, enriching the narrative and visual world of the highly anticipated music video set to premiere on August 20.
Second High-Tension Teaser for "Amapola"
August 19, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
With just a few hours to go before the official release, Maia Reficco continues to build excitement by unveiling a brand-new teaser for “Amapola.” And this time, there’s no doubt about it: the music video promises to be spectacular!
Gone are the intimate formats of her early days, Maia is clearly taking things to the next level with a production worthy of a feature film. In these new images, we discover a dark and captivating world set against the backdrop of an austere boarding school: students in uniforms frozen in place with their books, an impassive nun dressed in red, and a mysterious masked figure who creates immediate tension.
Amid this stifling discipline, Maia stands out, sitting nonchalantly on a wooden piece of furniture or running at full speed through the chapel to escape this straitjacket. Oversized looks, a desaturated vintage aesthetic, and a dramatic atmosphere: the art direction is absolutely flawless.
Amapola
August 20, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The official music video, now available, takes this unique artistic vision - somewhere between a psychological thriller and a visual satire - even further.
The aesthetic features a cool, desaturated color palette dominated by dull sea-green hues, clinical grays, and dark wood tones. The sets reinforce this sense of confinement with symmetrical, empty, and oppressive spaces : narrow corridors lit by pale neon lights, an imposing chapel emptied of its congregation where only the scarlet silhouette of the nun moves about, and austere rooms adorned with solemn portraits.
At the heart of this institutional rigidity, Maia stands out as the disruptive element. Wearing an oversized striped shirt unbuttoned over a black tie and flowing pants, she completely breaks with the dress code of the place. Whether she’s being dragged along the floor in a hallway without putting up a fight or flashing a mischievous, provocative smile right in the middle of the kitchens, her demeanor exudes detachment and emancipation.
More than just a music video, the visual for “Amapola” stands out as a sharp cinematic work. In it, Maia Reficco showcases a mature, daring world, meticulously crafted down to the last detail, brilliantly confirming the artistic renewal of her project.
“Devisita” now more than ever
Amapola’s visual universe extends beyond the music video: these new conceptual shots confirm the artistic direction of the upcoming album. The square framing, minimalist composition, and dark cinematic style make it the obvious choice for the future official album cover.
The concept brilliantly plays on gigantism, lost childhood, and the metaphor of home.
The Imprisoned Giantess : Curled up inside a rough-hewn wooden structure that has become too small for her, Maia embodies both vulnerability and a sense of suffocation, dressed in a vintage striped dress and high lace-up boots.
The miniature house : Sitting in the darkness, wearing knee-high socks and a simple bodysuit, she cradles a tiny house with lit windows. A powerful contrast that symbolizes home, isolation, and the search for an inner refuge.
This direct and unpretentious play on scale sets the stage for the project’s intimate and melancholic narrative: that of an artist who grew up too fast for the confines imposed upon her.
Women's Wear Daily
On the show Acceso Total, Maia Reficco talks about her EP, not album, will be titled “De vista.” While her single has already racked up over 100,000 streams on Spotify, she later announced in WWD magazine that the rest of her EP will be released in September 2026.
EPs (extended plays) typically contain 3 to 7 songs, compared to an album, which contains more than 10. EPs are considered less expensive to produce than albums and are popular among independent artists. They are a way for artists to share a particular aesthetic, story, or event.

See you on September 3...
August 28, 2026. 7:00 p.m., Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Through the first images in the teaser, Maia Reficco unveils a powerful visual world, imbued with vulnerability and theatricality. Far from artifice, the concept features two striking symbols : the expressionless mask worn in front of the dressing room mirror - a direct metaphor for the artist’s public facade and duality - and the tiny wooden house in which Maia curls up, conveying a visceral need for retreat and protection. This minimalist, cinematic aesthetic sets the tone for a deeply personal and introspective project, where every visual detail serves the EP’s emotional narrative.
The Echo of Nature

In a complete break from the confines of the studio and dressing rooms, this wide shot places Maia Reficco in the heart of a lush, silent clearing. Seated in the tall grass in the shade of a towering, solitary tree, her tiny silhouette against the vastness of the landscape reinforces this sense of serene solitude and contemplation. With its cinematic texture and palette of cool, organic tones, this image anchors the project in a poetic atmosphere, almost suspended in time, where nature becomes the ultimate refuge for the EP’s raw emotions.
