Oriah Pera, the new character played by Maia Reficco in the adaptation of Anna Todd's The Last Sunrise

Anna Todd

Anna Todd was born on March 20, 1989, and is one of the best-known authors in the United States, starting with her bestseller AFTER, which was originally written on Wattpad, which is how Anna made her name in the field, the great story of Hardin and Tessa.

The Last Sunrise Synopsis

A sheltered young woman whose life is transformed during a summer in Mallorca with a mysterious resident. Between chronic health problems and an overprotective mother, 22-year-old Oriah (Ry) Pera (Maia Reficco) feels trapped waiting for her new beginning. But when her mother's work takes them to Mallorca, Ry knows that this summer could be the beginning of her own passage into adulthood.

In her first small act of rebellion, she goes to the beach alone and meets an infuriatingly charming Spaniard. Julian (Actors not yet announced) makes Ry even more naive and inexperienced than usual, but she can't contain her growing attraction.

As summer progresses, Julian brings Ry out of his shell and plunges her into the adventures she's always dreamed of. But as her return to America approaches, Ry must decide if she has the courage to finally follow her heart and live for herself.

To celebrate “The Last Sunrise”, Anna is hosting a literary event in Los Angeles with Anna Todd on Wednesday, May 7 at 7 pm. She will discuss her new love story with Victoria Aveyard.
